This song is not what it seems like. I danced with the intention of it not being for a person, but for my Self. I wanted it to be a monologue that my soul was having with my ego to come and chase my dreams and truly be my most authentic version of myself. To slay my demons, so to speak, and finally be me. To be the creative being and not care about what’s lacking, but rather focusing on what I have.

The beginning of the song with the music of the elements was more mystical for me and the ending felt more upfront, like a game of cat and mouse.

Personal Note: This was the first film I took wearing my shoes. I felt a little clunky in the beginning, but realized the value in having them on after. My movements definitely became more fluid in the end.
